Sun Shots

One of my favorite things to photograph is the sun. Always has been, even when I was using my pocket point and shoot. So, now I feel pretty proud to say that I know exactly how to get the perfect sun pictures I want. They make excellent screen-savors!

What you need know:
Close that aperture! Try closing to at least 20.
Adjust you shutter speed to compensate for the lost light.

Got some additional advise? I would love to hear it!!

  1. I'm kidding. Just make sure your shutter speed is a fast as your camera will allow for the light you have. You can also set your ISO higher. A little more noise but the Nikon D90 does a fantastic job in low light!
